Awarded the Lilli Lehmann Medal of the International Mozarteum Foundation and many other prizes, Esther is now active as a freelance singer, lecturer, curator and managing artistic director. She enjoys working creatively in various fields and always pursues a comprehensive artistic approach.​
In 2020 she co-founded Kulturhaltestelle, a music production company based in Berlin. Kulturhaltestelle manages several music projects including music festivals in Germany and Switzerland.
